This position requires residency in the state of Idaho and will require travel up to 75% of the month primarily within the state, including overnights. If you are located in ID, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality of care investigations of behavioral health and substance use disorder providers
  • Provide analytical support and expertise when compiling report information
  • Develop and implement effective analysis, research, and evaluation in preparation for clinical monitoring audit activities
  • Travel up to 75% of work month, including overnight travel
  • Participate in departmental meetings and activities
  • Provide education and support to providers regarding operational and treatment record documentation standards
  • Complete clinical audits and record reviews of behavioral health and substance use disorder providers, primarily in the State of Idaho
  • Participate in inter-rater reliability of clinical audit activities

Required Qualifications:
  • Access to reliable transportation. (Will utilize company-paid rental vehicles and commercial air travel. Travel occurs up to 75% of the month, including overnights, to client and/or patient sites primarily within the state of Idaho)
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet) with the ability to navigate a Windows environment, including create, edit, save, and send documents using Microsoft Word
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. leading to an Independent Behavioral Health licensure
  • When working from home, you must have access to high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
  • Active, unrestricted, Independent Mental Health Licensure (i.e., LP, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
  • 3+ years of behavioral health experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven knowledge of Joint Commission survey processes
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data
  • Proven knowledge/experience with Behavioral Health evidence-based practices
  • Proven knowledge of inpatient and substance use disorder programs
  • Experience with Medicaid service delivery
  • Experiencing conducting clinical audits of behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment records
