Job Description
Here Are The Key Responsibilities And Requirements For This Role


We are now hiring a highly skilled Senior Accountant. You would be working amongst the best in the industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities


Coordinate accounting functions and programs.


Prepare financial analyses and reports.


Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditures


Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets


Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.


Assist with annual audit preparations.


Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance


Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns.


Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.


Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.


Requirements


Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required


3+ years of accounting experience


Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP


Strong financial analysis skills


Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


Strong organizational and stress management skills


Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel


Ability to train and manage staff


Ability to work with little to no supervision


As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions and programs, preparing financial analyses and reports, and maintaining balance sheet and general ledger accounts. You will also assist with preparing and monitoring budgets, investigating and resolving audit findings, and preparing tax returns.


To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of GAAP and financial analysis, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience training and managing staff.
