This dynamic team is adding a Senior Accountant to their accounting department to pace with forecasted growth. Candidate must have the ability to perform duties such as, month end close, monthly reporting, and have advanced Excel skills.

Who you are:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. You an experienced accountant with experience in automating and streamlining processes. You thrive in researching discrepancies and finding a solution.

What you will be doing:

As the Senior Accountant reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will be a key member of the accounting team supporting business operations. You will be exposed to leaders of the company and support decision making my creating and presenting financial reports. You will be tasked with projects to assist in streamlining and improving processes to support the tremendous growth of this company.

Responsibilities

• Drive an efficient fiscal close including identification and implementation of process improvements External audit support
• Work closely with business partners to ensure that the financial results are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for monthly close activities as well as a variety of analyses to support business activities
• Ad-hoc projects as needed
• Preparation of properly supported journal entries and account reconciliations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Advanced Excel user
• Full Cycle close experience
