The Role


Fidelity Health is rapidly growing and maturing its offerings across health and welfare benefits, health and benefit accounts, and guidance around these areas! In this role, you will lead an agile squad responsible for continuing to evolve our health benefit decision support experience by creating an experience that is easier to use and more personalized to the participant’s individual needs


The Expertise Skills You Bring


  • Advance Fidelity Health’s digital experience to delight and help our customers choose their best fit medical plan and health and welfare benefits with a strong digital competence and apply that to optimize detailed user experiences (web / mobile)
  • Are committed to developing a balance of technology and non-technology skills to keep our technology stack up to date and scalable
  • Defining, refining, and communicating the team’s mission and roadmap to motivate and solicit feedback, ideas, build support and alignment
  • Solid understanding of medical and/or pharmacy claims data
  • Ability to lead a team in execution and identify, communicate, and remove impediments
  • Take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered
  • Make informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines
  • Skilled at influencing and motivating colleagues without formal authority
  • Strong project/product management skills, with experience working in Agile environments (scrum/Kanban), Jira/Jira Align preferred
  • Have a track record of establishing and maintaining relationships as you work collaboratively across the organization to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach
  • Be intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching
  • Ability to build a strategic vision and translate strategy into an efficient execution plan
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful teams
  • Grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
  • 10+ years of experience building environments to support health care related experiences, particularly Health Benefits plan design or Health Benefit Account related experience
  • Take initiative and work independently
  • Prioritize squad work and get the organization behind your decisions
  • Ability to continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong presenter
  • 10+ years of experience in building cohesive digital products and journeys
  • Ability to partner with and influence deep analytics and AI/ML teams to further build the product roadmap


The Team


You work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, other Squad Leaders, Scrum Master, and Chapter Leaders aligned to your squad. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture.
