Job Description
Overview
Since 1955 Road Machinery has been committed to providing our customers with quality equipment and responsive service. We started out selling street sweepers, motor graders and air compressors from our 7th street, Phoenix, Arizona location. Road Machinery now operates across Arizona and California including world class re-manufacturing facilities for Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Electrical Rotating Devices and Hydraulic Cylinders.

Essential Duties
  • Use various data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights.
  • Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development team members to define reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Participate in the planning, designing, documenting, implementing, testing, and support of business systems/applications.
  • Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity; work directly with clients to understand the business’s individual needs.
  • Create and present reports to executive team members to support recommendations.
  • Point of contact to the business teams and ERP users in troubleshooting system issues and processes.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to translate business knowledge needs into technical development requirements.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in data-centric industry roles (DBA, SQL Developer, Crystal Report, SSRS, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases and queries required – MS SQL with DB2 or Open Query experience.
  • The ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Organizational ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL or WinSQL, including complex SQL queries and best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels
  • Experience translating business requirements into meaningful reports.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving
  • 3-5 years of Visual basic SQL Development and support experience with progressively responsible assignments
  • CDK Intellidealer experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
  • Proven time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency using BI application tools and report writers.
