Sql Database Administrator Jobs

Progilisys Solutions is leading the search for a SQL DBA in the Phoenix area. The Database Administrator is responsible for database planning, configuration, monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution. This role works independently on complex efforts, executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving, and delivering recommendations.

This is a direct hire position that will require this person to work onsite in downtown Phoenix.

To be immediately and seriously considered for this exceptional career opportunity, you must have the following:

• Familiarity with OLTP database design, theory and best practices.
• Masters in related field preferred
• Proficient with T-SQL.
• Familiarity with automation techniques (Maintenance Plans, PowerShell, etc.)
• 5 - 8 years’ experience managing production databases in a large complex multi-tiered environment
• Detailed knowledge of High Availability implementations (e.g. Windows Failover Cluster, “Always On” availability groups).
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Expertise with SQL Profiler (or alternate performance monitoring / troubleshooting tools)
• Expert level of understanding with SQL Server administration and troubleshooting. Oracle administration is nice to have.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) configuration and administration
