Job Responsibilities


  • Monitor and ensure timely and accurate completion of key quality activities, presenting results to management and other departments
  • Write narrative reports to interpret regulatory specifications and document findings and limitations of interventions
  • Prepare for Quality Improvement Compliance surveys and fulfill federal and state required quality activities
  • Implement key quality strategies, including provider, member, and community interventions
  • Create, manage, and compile documentation for critical quality improvement functions


Additional Responsibilities


  • Surface any process gaps to Manager and Director for remediation
  • Evaluate project/program activities and results to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead quality improvement activities, meetings, and discussions with other departments within the organization


Job Qualifications


  • Operational knowledge and experience with Excel and Visio
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare with 1 year experience in health plan quality improvement or managed care
  • Preferred field: Clinical Quality, Public Health, or Healthcare
  • Solid business writing experience


Preferred Experience


  • Preferred certifications: Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ), Nursing License (RN), Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor (CHCA)
  • 1 year of experience in Medicare and Medicaid


Pay Range: $45,390 - $88,511
