Job Description

Therapist owned and operated, IEP Therapy is currently looking for a Special Education Teacher in the Portland, IN, area to join our team. We currently have the following position available for the 2023-2024 school year:

FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE:

  • Special Education Teacher for a public school district with a student population of PreK-12th grade. Caseload TBD

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Attend multidisciplinary team and case conference meetings
  • Support district as needed
  • Collaborate with the Special Education team
  • Design instructional and intervention strategies for students
  • Lesson planning for students with IEP goals
  • Conduct and attend IEP meetings

Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

  • Department of Education License with a Special Education endorsement
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
