Special Education Teacher Contract - Milliken, CO


Spindle, a respected education services provider, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team near Milliken, CO. Responsibilities


  • Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning abilities, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure inclusive and supportive classroom environments
  • Stay up-to-date with current special education practices and research-based interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Assess students' progress and adjust instruction and accommodations accordingly


Qualifications


  • Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education in Colorado
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, practices, and instructional strategies
  • K-5 Behavioral Needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
