The Spare Parts Manager, 1st Level is responsible for spare part package sales for the North and Central America region from customer request to successful delivery.

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, strict adherence to KNAPP’s drug-free workplace policy is required. All candidates will be subject to drug-screening in accordance with the policy and will be expected to remain drug-free during their employment. What You Get To Do
The Spare Parts Manager, 1st Level is responsible for spare part package sales for the North and Central America region from customer request to successful delivery.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Handle contact from customers requesting spare parts information
- Create part numbers for all third-party supplier parts and manage through set up in global price list
- Manage multiple requests and track quotations into sales orders
- Manage the returns of parts as needed
- Work with third-party suppliers to gather spare part package information for each project.
- Handle the expedition of customer inquiries when necessary
- Cooperate with the Purchasing Manager, Shipping Manager, and headquarters in order to secure qualified management of spare parts delivery
- Establish and maintain good customer relations by promptly responding to customer’s inquiries and promoting the Company’s products and services
- Coordinate with other functional groups such as sales, procurement, customer service, and quality assurance
- Manage orders through delivery; ensuring orders are received and billed on time
- Serve as the first point of contact to customer for spare parts package related topics
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
- Sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Physical requirements may include:
- Overtime, if required by work
- Occasional travel may be required, up to 10%
