Summary
We are looking for a solution architect specialized in architecting and delivering complex, data centric solutions. Your main objective will be to lead the technical delivery and implementation of our platform driven solutions.

Role
  • Provide technical leadership. Provide architectural and practical direction to the PS team, Partners and customers
  • Lead the introduction and adoption of best practice in Solution architecture or implementation.
  • Gather together, mediate and gain consensus, then represent the PS group ‘view’ to internal or external parties.
  • Contribute to the invention of new or enhanced product features.
  • Represent PS in sales and marketing scenarios, guide solution discussions
  • Technical / architectural lead on large project implementations
  • Establishes “Trusted Partner” relationship with Customer for platform solution ownership guidance.
  • Defines solution architectures and estimates in project and pre-sales scenarios
  • Trains and mentors project team members for successful project implementations and to support professional development of others.
Demonstrates ‘role model’ consulting behaviours and competencies.

Competencies
  • Ability to contribute unique Telecoms domain technical knowledge or insights.
  • Ability to introduce new methods and techniques which have ‘game-changer’ levels of impact on efficiency.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects in the department as well as ‘own’ project responsibilities.
  • Able to communicate at an ‘industry’ level at forums and conferences. Has recognised ‘weight’ in the community.
  • Business acumen, able to contribute at an entrepreneurial level
  • Expert level experience in complex Solution design, construction and project implementation lifecycle.
  • Best in department relevant industry knowledge in IT and Telecoms domains. Understands customer’s business.
  • Able to architect at leading-edge complex platform solutions envelope.
  • Technical leadership over largest scale, technical and implementation complexities.
  • Strongest quality and technical completer/finisher orientation.
  • Exemplary communications and relationship building skills including cross-cultural working.
  • Business acumen, contributing at will to wider department, product and company goals
  • Proven track record in architecting and technically leading complex enterprise level solutions (>10 years)
  • Export knowledge of scripting, data integration, data analysis
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (i.e. AWS, Azure)
