Responsibilities


Noblis is looking for a Top-Secret Cleared Software User Interface (UI) Engineer to support a Law Enforcement Client in Northern Virginia!


Additional Responsibilities May Include


Interested in joining our multi-disciplinary digital forensic team to enable and enhance our Department of Justice clients. In your role you will work with teams to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments for national security missions spanning infrastructure development and management, systems engineering, and software development which are transforming the way law enforcement and the intelligence community handle and analyze information and translate it into actionable intelligence.


You would join Noblis’ Law Enforcement Programs division as we continue to grow our capabilities. Today our team consists of developers, scientists, engineers, researchers, and analysts that have served federal, state, and local government clients on the most difficult high-consequence problems in analytics, biometrics, AI/machine learning, encryption, and forensic science for over 20 years. Our team is engaged across the law enforcement and intelligence community and has been instrumental in making our customers’ programs successful in analytics, automation, and digital solutions spanning identity science, AI/machine learning, computer vision, biometrics, forensics, media analytics, systems engineering, software development/integration, DevOps, and cloud technologies.


Responsibilities May Include


  • Design code that adheres to existing project standards
  • Use of Model -View- ViewModel (MVVM) in production environments.
  • Collaborate with database engineers to realize data efficiency and optimizations.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • F) Experience with SDKs and APIs to integrate third-party components into applications.
  • D) Proficiency in using Visual Studios 2012 (and above) and using/maintaining/configuring Distributed Version Control System (such as Mercurial and Git) and using package repositories (such as NuGet).
  • E) Working knowledge of Windows messaging and queuing technologies (e.g., WinForms, Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • I ) Demonstrated ability to adapt to new concepts and techniques .
  • C) Worked in a team of 5+ developers on software development projects used in a production environment with a user base 50+ external users.
  • B) Proficiency in .NET (4.0 and above) C# development of Windows applications , and specifically user interface controls .
  • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI polygraph eligibility.
  • H) Ability to work with middle-tier interfaces (e.g., WebAPI ) to retrieve data as well as perform requests to other middle-tier services.
  • 2 years experience as a software engineer/developer with d egree in Software Engineering/Development or equivalent; In lieu of degree, 10 years specialized experience as software engineer or developer
  • G) Experience o ptimizing application performance by threading.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with asp.net and website development
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Presentation Format (WPF) or XAML


Client Engagement


  • Begin developing relationships one level up and two levels down. Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope beyond current deliverable and actively share information about clients’ emerging support needs and trends with team members and management.
  • Participate on proposals

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
