Job Description

Software Tester

Albany, NY (50% onsite)

30 months duration


The consultant will be performing application development tasks including:

  • Researching, resolving, and testing defects
  • Training other staff
  • Automating test scripts executions
  • Participating in all phases of the systems development life cycle including Application Testing (Unit, Functional, Integration and UAT Testing) and performance testing.
  • Writing and executing Test Plans
  • Special projects as required
  • Test data set creation


Qualification

  • 60monthsofexperiencedesigninganddocumentingtechnicalsolutionsandthetestplansneededtovalidate thatthebusiness/systemneedsandrequirementsaremet.
  • Mayhaveanadvancededucation.
  • 60-84months:Candidateisabletoworkindependently,withoutassistanceandprovidesguidancetoothers.


  • 48Monthsof experiencecreatingandexecutingtestscriptsforQualityassurance, UserAcceptance,Regression,andPerformanceTestingusingtoolssuchasQualityCenter,QTP, andLoadRunner.
  • 24monthsofexperiencedeveloping,troubleshooting, orprovidingproductionsupportofcustomizations,interfaces, andprogramsinaPeopleSoft9. xFinancialsenvironmentutilizingPeopleToolsandOracleDataIntegrator.

ExperiencewithPSHCMorCampusSolutionsdoesNOTqualify.

24MonthsservinginatechnicalleadcapacityinaPeopleSoftERPinanycombinationofatleasttwoofthe followingmodules:

•AccountsPayable

•TravelandExpenses

•AccountsReceivable

•Billing

•GeneralLedger

•CommitmentControl

•ProjectCosting

•Inventory
