- Working directly with Developers, Technical Program Managers, and Project Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms.
- Responsible for design, development, and maintenance of new and existing automation frameworks, continued evaluation of automated test cases for inclusion in test regression, tests coverage and newly implemented features and functionality.
- Responsible for driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. You will be a key member of a team building innovative OTA solutions that will change customers lives for the better.
- Creating and designing test automation for cloud and in-vehicle applications and operating system.
- Working with cross-functional teams across the company to launch best in class technical solutions for testing software capabilities of our vehicles as it relates to Over the Air Updates.
- Assist in the planning, creation and control of test environments and test data
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, .NET, Python, PERL, C# or C/C++
- Demonstrated functional, non-functional, and manual testing knowledge
- Ability to develop automation test strategy, plan, and approach
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Analyze and communicate test results and defect tracking
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting analytical and problem-solving skills
- Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes
- Knowledge of release, change and configuration management
- Ability to understand project architecture such and high-level design, low level design and network architecture
- Experience in test framework design and development
- Experience with agile testing methodologies and best practices
- Participate in performance and load test efforts
- Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
- Experience in the use of specialist tool, for example selenium, SOAP-UI, eggplant, Tosca for functional test automation. Micros focus LoadRunner or JMeter for performance testing and JAWS for accessibility testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology
- Strong objected oriented design and coding skills
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
- Experience in agile or scrum software development methodologies
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
