Software Quality Engineer (New Health Care Company)

• Design/development of automation framework, scripts, execute automated scripts and analyze results
• Execution of test cases (both manual and automated), analyze testcase execution to identify abnormalities and report defects
• Analyzing and working with large sets of data (e.g. Healthcare claims)
• Development of test cases/test data needed to meet specifications, clinical content definitions and software implementation design/logic
• Participate in scrum team planning sessions to identify dependency chain and tasks breakdown, provide estimates and outline test approach

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the software industry

• Experience working with an “Agile” team using Scrum Framework
• Three (3) years of experience creating software quality and/or data processing tests in a private, public, government or military environment
• Experience testing applications that are implemented using JAVA, SQL, JSON Technology

• Ability to create test prep documents and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Three (3) years plus experience testing applications or java jars/libraries with no user interface using JSON and CSV datasets
• Experience writing test scripts using Java or Python and SQL is desired
• Two (2) years of experience with healthcare related data (claims and billing, healthcare informatics, inpatient and outpatient data) and HIPAA requirements is desired
• Demonstrable proficiency using automation frameworks such as Selenium, Junit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.,
• Experience analyzing and working with large sets of data (e.g. Healthcare claims, Insurance claims, Financial transactions, etc.,)

The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
