Your Role:
As a Software QA Manager in MilliporeSigma's eCommerce team, you will provide strategy, oversight, and technical guidance to a team of testing Analysts and Engineers. You will evaluate practices and develop a roadmap for improvement/modernization to support continuous integration and deployment (CICD). This role will need to travel internationally up to 10% and will need to work some nights or weekends.
This role is hybrid in the St Louis metro area. Full remote for candidates in other geographical locations.

• Drive a quality culture by helping cross functional teams adopt the right quality practices to support automation for CICD
• Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business and technical partners
• Determine, maintain, and communicate appropriate metrics for measuring success
• Code, implement, and maintain regression and performance test scripts as needed
• Develop, drive, and own the vision and strategy of Software Quality Engineering
• Regularly look for opportunities to improve QA tool stack, testing approaches, and skillsets of the engineers

Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of work experience in Quality Engineering, such as test automation and performance testing
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other Technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with implementing continuous integration and delivery concepts (CI/CD) in Gitlab
• Strong understanding of the release management process and how automated testing plays a key role in the success of faster release cycles
• Familiar with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Proven success in the implementation of automated test strategies to support CICD
• Experience working with cloud computing technologies (e.g., GCP)
• Extensive experience with performance, load, and stress testing tools
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of common web protocols, networking, and systems
• Team player, ability to be able to work with global virtual teams
• Understanding of Agile and software development lifecycle
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, including test automation and performance testing
• Proficient with QA tools and automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms (e.g., Playwright)
