ITegrity is seeking a Software Engineer to help modernize a Government system. The candidate must be able to assess, recommend, modify, document, code, support data path changes, support centralization of systems and software , modernize tools, reports, and processes to support management and PMOs for a long-term supportable solution.

Overall Requirements

• Prepare environment for BUFR data format changes, and maintain ongoing integration and
• Update current application and database to support business process changes
• Enhance reporting capability and PMO tools for workforce efficiency
• Management/oversight, API for sharing data between systems
• Update integration process for metadata

• Implement a new baseline for ongoing operational support for a sustainable program
• Ensure capacity by improving monitoring processes through various back end systems
• Conduct a capacity planning exercise reviewing back end systems and processes that are taxed
• Reduce risk of system/collection process failure by consolidating systems into the cloud based One Platform, establishing support for systems that are currently unsupported

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology, with a focus in electrical, mechanical or other related technical discipline (or equivalent) in a related area as well as approximately 8 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Provides expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development, analysis, and implementation of technical products and systems.
• Demonstrated experience hands on knowledge of PHP/HTML, LAMP stack, Linux Apache
• Works under general supervision, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks.
• PHP and Perl experience
• 4+ years of progressive software engineering management experience in both functional and program roles with an emphasis on computer system development
• Recognized as technical leader and resource responsible for all internal activities and product development. License and certification may be required.
