Job Description
Annual Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 (depends on experience level)

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Level 0 Software Engineer (SWE-0, between 0-6 years’ experience) with a Java development background. Four years’ software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.


Requirements


Security Clearance:


  • Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.


Required Skills:


  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Java (1.8+)
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR four years’ software engineering experience
  • Angular 6 or above
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
