**Job Title: Software Developer**

**Location: Springfield, VA**

**What you will be working on:**

- Develop and deploy custom solutions to the customer's enterprise environment.

- Research, design, develop, test, and modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.

- Analyze user/business software system requirements and determine needs.

- Determine the functionality of an application and perform upgrades over time.

- Maintain documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.

- Establish and improve system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols.

- Work under the guidance of the Scrum Master to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.

- Design, implement, and maintain application code on various networks.

- Contribute in all phases of the software development life cycle.

- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.

- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.

- Recommend changes to improve established application processes.

- Prepare and produce releases of software components.

- Write automated unit test cases and evaluation code quality using automated tools.

- Develop automated integration test cases and resolve issues.

**What you will bring to us (Must):**

- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.

- Current DoD IAT II Level certification or the ability to successfully obtain one within 90 days of hire.

**Would be nice if you have (Highly Desired):**

- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

- 5+ years of related experience as a Software Developer.

- Expertise in at least one language and desire good experience with several others (Python, React, Java, etc.).

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes.

- Experience building and working with container images (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Experience with utilizing CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.

- Experience with deploying to on-prem/data center infrastructure.

- Experience using Jira and Confluence on a daily basis.

- Experience with ElasticSearch, GoLang.

- Front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/Sass/Less/JavaScript).

- Experience deploying to RedHat Openshift Container Platform.

- Experience writing infrastructure as code (Helm/Terraform).

- Experience with GraphDBs (Neo4j/RedisGraph).

- Experience with Messaging Systems (NATS Jetstream/Pulsar).
