What you'll do

DocuSign is looking for an amazing software engineer to join our development team. This position is part of the DocuSign Healthcare and Life Sciences team which provides integrated healthcare solutions leveraging DocuSign’s latest innovations in modeling and workflow tools. It will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile environments. In this role you will be putting your skills to work across the stack to deliver user-facing products. This role is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineer.

Responsibility

• Solve technical problems, bugs, and customer support issues
• Write and ship modular, secure, and scalable code
• Raise issues and opportunities for improvement early and often
• Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed
• Participate in an Agile environment practices, Automated unit and integration testing, Code reviews, Version control systems, Automated build processes
• Test your code at all levels and ensure its quality before shipping
• Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
• Think through how systems will scale and fail as they grow

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• BA/BS degree in CS, EE or equivalent work experience
• Experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services
• Hands-on experience with building user interfaces using modern front end technologies, such as React, Vue, and Angular
• 2+ years of experience in in Software development
• Experience with full stack development, preferably in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or Java

Preferred

• Good sense of usability and design
• A passion for UI
• 3+ years of experience in in Software development
• Experience with distributed systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the willingness and ability to rapidly learn new technologies and tool sets
• A passion to learn
• A passion for great software, be open minded and forward thinking
• Experience with cloud software development and microservice architectures
• Experience in agile and test-driven development methodologies
• Ability to move across technology stacks fluently
• Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $105,100 - $161,775 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $98,800 - $144,550 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
