Software Developer Jobs

The Software Developer is responsible for building new and updating current applications for DLP Capital and all companies under its umbrella. This role will be a key driver in helping DLP become a data driven organization by helping to drive integrations and automation. This role will work directly with the Director of Development and other senior developers to lead all development efforts and drive automation across all company business units.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements)

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C# or JavaScript
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven work experience as a Software Developer, preferably in the real estate or financial services industry
• Experience with software & web development frameworks like asp.net and .Net Core
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Proficiency in database technologies like SQL, MySql, or Postgres

What you are great at: (Responsibilities)

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of software systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects and performance issues.
• Follow version control processes to assure consistency, quality, and timeliness. This includes making sure code repositories are up-to-date daily (or anytime code is modified.)
• Support database, data warehouses, and data lakes management.
• Monitor and provide input for evaluation and prioritize change requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and UI/UX designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and UI/UX designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Help communication upward as well as throughout project teams
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices in one or more of the following programming languages and technologies: - C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, Javascript, Python, PHP.
• Provide technical expertise to business units during planning phase of software development projects.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative ideas and improvements.
• Document software designs, specifications, and technical processes.
