Software Developer - Intern R&D

Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Software Development Intern. You will be part of an innovative development team surrounded by one of the most talented group of people that all possess the same goals. You work on cutting edge technology and contribute your ideas in support of the EAM product recently acquired by Hexagon.

This internship will have exposure to both development and DevOps environments and have the support of skilled and experienced developers and management to guide and expose them to various principles and aspects of a professional technical organization.

The intern will work in an Agile environment using Scrum processes. The intern will be able to work independently on research related tasking with limited supervision and must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions. The work is fully or partially remote and within a team of very skilled and experienced developers in a very technical environment.

Qualifications

Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or another related field.

Proficiency and exposure to at least one or a mix of these skillsets is desirable:

• Database PL/SQL (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Web development (html, XML, xslt, JavaScript)
• Scripting (Python)
• AWS automation
• Java
