Job Description
Social Worker needed for an elementary school near Cicero, Illinois

Key responsibilities include:


  • Offering comprehensive school social work services to students facing academic risks or struggling with social, emotional, or behavioral issues.
  • Undertaking other comparable duties that contribute to the overall success of our school community.
  • Acting as a liaison between students homes, the school, and community providers, ensuring seamless access to necessary services and facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Delivering timely crisis intervention services to address emergent situations and provide immediate support.
  • Providing essential direct and indirect support as a related service in the realm of special education.


Requirements


  • A LSW or LCSW REQUIRED.
  • Must hold a PEL Certification with a Social Worker or School Support personnel endorsement.
  • A Masters degree in social work.
