Position Overview
As an Intermediate-Level Social Media and Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing social media strategies for both our agency and our clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of communications-related tasks, from content strategy to email marketing, and provides room for growth and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with our team to develop and execute social media strategies, including content ideation, project planning, content creation, publishing, audience engagement, analytics, and project management.
Adapt your writing skills to capture the unique brand voice and style of our clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the nuances in how different brands engage their followers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in online culture and social media, leveraging this knowledge to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Be the resident expert on social media algorithms and emerging technologies in the field, consistently seeking and recommending new opportunities to enhance our clients' online presence.
Craft impactful messages tailored to diverse audiences, industries, and literacy levels, responding quickly to business demands.
Create original content across various mediums, including social platforms, video narratives, and web content.
Provide constructive feedback to peers, assisting with content structure, grammar, and persuasion techniques.
Ensure brand consistency in all communications, maintaining meticulous attention to detail in linguistic accuracy, editorial flow, and stylistic consistency.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients' brand elements, including mission, value statements, and brand commitments.
Utilize content marketing techniques to resonate with our clients' desired audiences.
Translate client dialogues into well-conceived communication strategies.
Manage content planning, including publishing schedules and operational workflows, across various platforms.
Stay informed about current social and email trends, harnessing them to strengthen brand identity.
Create and refine engaging visual content, including text and graphic overlays, photo enhancements, and simple video editing.
Familiarity with social media ad platforms, such as Meta, Tik-Tok, Google, etc.
Interpret communication-centric metrics and use them to drive growth.
Engage with clients to ensure they feel valued and showcase our brand through best practices and innovative ideas.
Adapt to the fast-paced agency environment, demonstrating active listening, rapid execution, analytical thinking, and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Demonstrate a semi-technical understanding of content tailored for search engine visibility and conversion enhancement.
Show curiosity about the integration of AI in marketing and communications.
Qualifications
Proficiency in desktop applications such as Premier, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and mobile-editing applications.
Willingness to undergo a thorough onboarding process, with availability for on-call responsibilities during off-hours and weekends.
