The Social Media Specialist team creates and deploys content across EA SPORTS Portfolio social channels, which includes EA SPORTS NHL, UFC, PGA TOUR , and other multiple console and mobile EA SPORTS titles. You will collaborate with EA SPORTS communications team members across multiple disciplines, including social and owned channels, influencer marketing, core community and earned media to share the story of our games.


Reporting to the Social Media Manager on the EA SPORTS Portfolio team, you will develop trust with EA SPORTS players through transparent and purposeful communications. The Social Media Specialist will have a data-centric approach, with a strong understanding of social channel platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. You will gather insights and social channel learnings to inform the marketing strategies as well as collect player feedback to provide to the development teams to inform future product decisions.


Through these channels, the Social Media Specialist will engage directly with our player communities, partnering with team members across Creative, Brand and Production on the content roadmap, briefs, execution to develop and share compelling stories and content about our games. Within this role you will also work with licensed partners, teams and leagues around important moments in the sports calendar.


Responsibilities


  • Track content development team requests and brief partners on social content needs.
  • Work with the production team on the development of social media assets.
  • Manage the social media channel execution fo r EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, NHL and UFC.
  • Analyze competitor activity using social listening tools.
  • Research and apply the latest social media trends and apply insights to the social marketing strategy.
  • Partner with marketing and community leads on Super Mega Baseball, and multiple EA SPORTS mobile titles, on social media strategy around important marketing programs beats.
  • Work with Creative Strategy, Brand, and Production teams to develop the content roadmap for EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, NHL and UFC .
  • Partner with the Creator, Partnerships and Community Managers on creator engagement and amplify creator content on EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, NHL and UFC social channels.
  • Gather insights on social media channel performance using third-party toolsets.
  • Coordinate with licensed partners, teams and leagues on social media collaborations and content strategy.


Required Qualifications


  • Experience developing creative social media strategies as part of a large organization
  • Experience to track content development asks and brief partners on social content needs
  • Minimal travel required
  • Familiar with social scheduling tools such as Sprout and Airtable
  • Has deployed content on social media channels such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for a company and sports organization
  • Remote-friendly role from indicated locations
  • 1-3 years of experience as a social media manager


CONTRACT POSITION - 12 MONTHS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


HOURLY PAY RANGES


  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):º $28 - $35
  • Jersey City, NJ:º $28 - $35
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):º $28 - $35
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):º $28 - $35
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):º $28 - $35
