: Social Media Marketing Intern

Texas FC, a soccer club established in Leander in 2023, is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about soccer and looking to gain valuable experience while working closely with the players, staff, and community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and promotion of club events, appearances, and other initiatives
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, brand awareness, and fan loyalty across all major platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content, including graphics, videos, and stories, tailored to each platform's unique audience and format
• Interact with fans and followers, fostering a positive and inclusive community around the team
• Keep up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, leveraging new opportunities to engage with our audience
• Collaborate with Photography Ambassadors, public relations team, and other staff to create cohesive and compelling content that showcases the club's story, achievements, and events
• Monitor and analyze social media performance, leveraging insights to inform content strategy and optimize future campaigns

Requirements:

• Passion for soccer and an understanding of the sports industry
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Sprout Social
• Interest or experience in social media marketing, preferably in sports or a related industry
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency
• Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) or Canva
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including platform-specific features, algorithms, and best practices
