The Role And What You’ll Do


The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day execution of social media activities across all UFC accounts, creating timely, accurate, and relevant content for fight fans before, during, and after UFC events. This position manages the posting process, from concept to approval and manages the execution.


  • Tracks content against KPIs, identifying trends and best practices
  • Executes Community Management across all social platforms including tracking fan sentiment about fighters, promotions, and events; identifying any UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+ purchasing issues; and managing the UFC Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Inbox.
  • Works with multiple departments and stakeholders to create, copy-edit, and post social media content for UFC’s official pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok.
  • Monitors the UFC “universe” and interacts with athletes, celebrities and influencers with an “always on” approach.
  • Generates custom social media analytics reports using social media platforms native insights and analytics tools
  • Provides regular remote coverage, and occasionally, on-site content coverage and reporting of UFC events using social media tools and platforms including Grabyo, Emplify, and others.
  • Manages creative requests and asset delivery for UFC social media and digital channels.
  • Provides support for the growth of Secondary Channels (UFC PI, UFC Fight Pass, etc.)
  • Monitors athletes’ social media presence, work with platforms to verify accounts
  • Maintains daily/weekly social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize impact of posts
  • Manages Athlete Media including monitoring athletes’ social media presence, working with platforms to verify accounts, and proactively providing content to athletes to promote events from on-sale to fight week.
  • Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned


You Have These


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Positive attitude and an ability to handle an intense schedule, fast-paced environment, and off-hours requests
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and After Effects proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Photography and videographer experience
  • Two years of experience working with social media for a sports property preferred
  • Microsoft Excel for creating, editing, and maintaining analytics reports
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with UFC’s live event schedule
  • Journalism background and MMA/UFC knowledge is preferred
