About the role
As the Social Media & Content Specialist, you will optimize communications to drive demand and authentic engagement with customers and influencers. You craft stories that balance business objectives and brand goals, adapting to the needs of a dynamic social media environment. And you do all of this because at your core, you care. About people, about coffee, and about finding ways to keep growing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support and execute integrated campaigns that align communications across key touchpoints, such as Instagram, EDMs, blogs, and TikTok.
  • Practice effective time management, adhere to deadlines, and proactively drive projects to completion.
  • Regularly track & report on campaign performance, social media trends, and industry activity.
  • Stay up to date - Be curious. Listen for new ways to make Baratza stand out to our customers domestically and globally.
  • Create content and undergo regular critiques to ensure brand consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice on all media channels.
  • Develop, implement, and manage Baratza's social media strategy by working closely with the Baratza Marketing Manager and collaborating with Breville's GTM team.
  • Engage as a human - respond to comments and questions across our social media platforms in a timely, friendly manner.


We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

  • Experience with social media analytics and tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on ideating, planning, and implementing social media strategy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management
  • Customer centric, professional and personable via email/social media.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices. Scheduling and reporting through Sprinklr is a plus.
  • On-brand copywriting experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible, with the ability to handle multiple commitments, prioritize and manage time efficiently with minimal guidance. We're a small team and need to jump in where needed.

Salary: $65-70k
