Position Title & Overview:


As the Coordinator for the Social Impact team you will be the multi-faceted individual that steps in to tackle plans of action from across groups. You’ll help coordinate events, calendars, and live meetings for community engagement, publisher facing DEI and Sustainability initiatives. In doing so, the Coordinator will be responsible for keeping the missions of those programs at the forefront of their mind as they work to help us plan new ways to engage both internally and externally.


In this role we need someone ready to pioneer the Social Impact team with us, helping to create synergy between all the departments at Mediavine within the lens of our program's goals. The ideal candidate will need to quickly learn all that Mediavine has to offer in order to coordinate effectively, assisting the program leads and the Chief Social Impact Officer as the department collectively works together to launch into its first year.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Maintain an accurate and detailed calendar, manage incoming scheduling requests, proactively communicate changes to the team, as well as anticipate and respond to scheduling and travel conflicts, rescheduling as needed
  • Proactively coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, including all aspects of the meeting as needed (travel, technology, food, vendors, etc.)
  • Provide special project support as needed
  • Find solutions to improve efficiency and organizational practices
  • Track tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization is completed with respect to deadlines and organizational developments
  • Provide administrative support in reviewing/editing documents and online resources
  • Be an active partner to all the Social Impact team program leads and Chief Brand & Social Impact Officer, organizing current needs, anticipating potential conflicts and handling sensitive business information as needed
  • Ensure consistent and efficient interaction with other colleagues across the company; demonstrating poise and tact under pressure handling matters with sound judgment and respect
  • Support program leads in their collaboration with, publishers, ad partners, local communities and NGOs as required to foster partnerships
  • Provide support for in person and virtual Mediavine sponsored events attended by the CBSIO and team or otherwise as needed
  • Attend meetings and daily briefings with or on behalf of the Social Impact team, taking note of and following up on action items as needed
  • Promote Mediavine on LinkedIn by sharing/reposting internally for likes and follows
  • Assist in drafting important documents and presentation materials
  • Plan, coordinate and support activities, meetings and events providing opportunities for community engagement, education and partnership
  • Liaise with teams across Mediavine to assist program leads in launching initiatives
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned
  • Utilize exceptional writing skills to craft compelling content, in partnership with the MarComm team to raise awareness about our corporate responsibility efforts and engage our audience effectively
  • Travel up to 25%


Requirements


Location:


  • Must currently live in the United States


You Have:


  • 2+ years of experience in event planning
  • 3+ years of experience in writing, with ability to create engaging content for different platforms
  • Must have exceptional organizational and communication attributes
  • 5+ years of professional experience in program administration/coordination, preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate or non-profit social responsibility; preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, moving quickly to achieve goals when required
  • Self-motivated and proactive, and able to work independently with a high focus to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Active involvement in community/social impact with a commitment to driving positive change through innovative initiatives and events
  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing & Communications or Social Sciences preferred
