Now hiring for Apprentice or Skilled Carpenters for multiple projects in beautiful Durango, CO

Skilled Carpenters Details
  • Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
  • First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm )
  • Temporary position
  • Installing wooden structures such as partitions, joists and stud work
  • Full Time work available
  • Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
  • Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style
  • Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
  • Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
  • $ 20.00 to $ 26.00 / hour
Skilled Carpenters Qualifications
  • Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns Joinery or cabinet-making skills
  • An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry
  • Creativity and design skills
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
  • Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
