Our business has a strong community involvement, donating our time, money, and furniture to worthwhile local causes such as Operation Food Search, Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition, and the Urban League. We also have a very strong commitment to re-use/recycle, keeping furniture out of the waste stream every year.
Key Qualities
Receives, stores, assembles, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties. Clean, preps, builds displays, organizes and tags used furniture for the showroom floor and uploads products using a tablet and phone to take photos to upload to the website.

Receives, stores, assembles, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties. Clean, preps, builds displays, organizes and tags used furniture for the showroom floor and uploads products using a tablet and phone to take photos to upload to the website.
Responsibilities
- Preps used products for displays and builds them.
- Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping bays.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels on showroom floor.
- Tag and label products and make sure all materials have identifying information.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, assembled, or distributed.
- Loading, unloading, and wrapping furniture on delivery trucks.
- Compiles' worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Maintains inventory records, adjustments, and descriptions.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Research our product tags.
- Take multiple pictures of product from varies angles and create descriptions of furniture on Website. Take photos to upload product images from our devices to our website and create detail product descriptions.
- Works with other team members to organize and maintain used showroom floor.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers.
- Follows all OSHA requirements.
- Helps sales team with Will Call tickets – pick-ups, product availability.
- Work with multiple departments to multitask projects.
- Willing to learn and work in a website and follow previous layout.
- Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance.
- Demonstrates a customer focus.
- Ability to work in indoor/outdoor climate.
- Ability to carry out goals and instructions and to follow through on assignments.
- Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during shift.
- Ability to work with multiple departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently.
- Tech Savvy and able to operate a mobile device such as tablet, phone, and computer.
- Ability to communicate in both speech and writing.
- Minimum 1 to 3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
