Compensation range $23.00-$25.00/HR

Location South Seattle, WA


Hours Monday-Friday; Day shift 600am - 230pm


The Shipping & Logistics Clerk works in conjunction with the Puget Sound asset management and warehouse teams to ensure product is shipped timely and accurately.


Responsibilities


  • Oversees the pulling, palletizing, and protection requirements for all shipments.
  • Establish, document, and maintain shipping processes to meet internal and external customer expectations.
  • Collaborates with the internal team regarding status of shipments.
  • Completes all shipping paperwork.
  • Works with freight carriers to determine best pricing and secure freight quotes.
  • Assist asset management and warehouse teams with the daily workload, when needed.
  • Effectively resolves discrepancies and/or issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with product receiving, when needed.


Qualifications


Education/Experience


  • 3 to 5 years of warehousing experience; shipping experience preferred.
  • Associated Degree preferred, but not required.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • Exhibit flexibility with changing schedules, assignments, work locations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate effective customer service skills by meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safely operate and handle all warehouse machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Work and Excel. SnapTracker experience a plus.
