Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the flow of inventory transactions and all warehouse documentation. Ensuring timely and accurate documents and transactions. Interact with the Warehouse Teams in ORN and DEC, Logistics and Customer Service daily.


Responsibilities

  • Get proper approval to write off inventory and complete transactions in SAP timely
  • Prepare customs paperwork for export orders
  • Train warehouses team members on processes
  • Improve process flows as business evolves
  • Use of Transportation Management System (TMS) and reporting
  • Provide expert support to warehouse team members
  • Prepare shipping documents for customer orders
  • Participate in safety teams and internal and external audits
  • Prompt, regular, and dependable attendance
  • Count inventory using bar code scanning equipment
  • Additional assignments as deemed necessary by management
  • Manage daily request received via email, phone, and plant radio
  • Manage month end close activities to ensure inventory is balanced
  • Write procedures and work instructions for the department
  • Assist Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in requested task
  • Communicate with transportation companies
  • Ensure that all orders are shipped and posted in SAP on schedule daily
  • Monitor shipping and material request in SAP and react timely
  • Monitor raw material and packaging request and pick tickets
  • Enter returned shipments into SAP and TMS
  • Monitor open transfers and posting changes in SAP
  • Monitor purchase order request for warehouse supplies
  • Manage and track non-stock inventory in warehouse
  • Manage bin locations in SAP
  • Manage in plant transfers and transfers to other DAI warehouses
  • Receive orders into SAP
  • Create and manage reports in Excel


Qualifications

  • One year of SAP experience
  • Minimum 3 years of shipping and inventory transactions and documentation experience
  • DOT certification preferred. Certification required within 90 days of employment start date
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience
