Shift Leader

• A shift differential of $1.00 for hours worked between 6pm and 6am.
• Competitive Benefits Package
• Great starting pay! $27.70 per hour

The Shift Leader will act as liaison between the Supervisor/ Manager, working with other departments as a cohesive unit.

What you will be doing:

• Cover associate lunches & regular breaks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Request assistance from Management as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of posted work schedules.
• Communicate with relief to ensure a smooth transition from shift to shift.
• Notify Production Management immediately of any substandard quality.
• Communicate with other associates and production management in a professional manner. Escalate concerns and consult with senior management to resolve all problems.
• Maintain knowledge of accountability procedures & responsible for completion of all required paperwork associated with the Shift Leader position.
• Administer routine shift work, ensure good housekeeping, superior quality, GMP compliance, and that all BBU policies and procedures including safety are being followed.
• Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety and or quality issue.
• Follow and enforce procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and any other programs that support the food safety and quality systems and other 3rd party audits.
• Compliance to all BBU rules & regulations as well as the BCTGM local 53 CBA.
• Maintain knowledge of job requirements for the positions in the specific department.
• Assist supervisors and associates in the performance of all duties and will aid in the performance of all the duties and will assist in acquiring additional skills of associates.
• Understand and carry out written and or verbal instructions and direction.
• Perform duties assigned by their supervisor or manager in an efficient and professional manner.
