Shellroom Custodian Jobs

Primary Function: Perform required custodial functions for the Shellroom and other departments as necessary. Tools and Equipment: Mops, brooms, sponges, putty knives, custodial machines, paint, painting equipment, cleansers, etc. Material: Cleaning products, mechanics tools, etc. Direction of Others: No supervisory responsibilities Working Procedure: Under the guidance and direction of the Shellroomn Supervisor and the Production Manager, the Custodian THE FOLLOWING ARE THE USUAL MAJOR JOB DUTIES BUT THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE PERFORMANCE OF OTHER DUTIES BY THE INCUMBENT. 1 Shall adhere to all safety requirements as posted on the job safety card. 2 Shall receive daily work assignments from the department supervisor. 3 Shall maintain all job documentation, forms, Work documentation, instruction sheets, etc., where accuracy and timeliness are paramount. include, but is not limited to, keeping equipment clean and free from dirt and grime; sweeping the floor and picking up any refuse; doing whatever is necessary to maintain a clean and dirt free working environment. 5 May be required to prep and paint equipment, and do other minor construction projects that do not require journeyman skills. 6 Shall assist in the movement of furniture, equipment, or other machinery where special rigging or heavy duty moving equipment is not required. 7 Shall attend and successfully complete hazardous material / waste handling classes. 8 Shall attend and successfully complete lockout / tagout training classes. 9 Shall attend and successfully complete training in the proper use of ladders, man-lift equipment, and in general how to work safely when required to work above ground level. 10 Shall perform other duties as assigned by the Shellroom Supervisor. Work Environment: Job responsibilities will require tolerance to all weather related conditions, and the various conditions found throughout the plant. Special Skills Required: Must have sufficient strength and manual dexterity to perform the physical demands of the job.
