Job Description
Hitech Sheetmetal is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Workers to join their team in Midvale WA.
The Successful Applicants Will Need To Possess And Undertake
  • Be punctual and responsible
  • Experience with materials such as steel, aluminium & polymer
  • Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
  • Have a willingness to work with strong attention to detail
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites
  • Cutting material, weld prep, grinding
  • Manoeuvre and anchor large sheet metal parts
  • Select types of sheetmetal according to building or design plans
  • Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials
  • Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks
  • Adherence to WHS
  • Duct fabrication in some roles
Skills & Attributes
  • Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • At least 3 years’ experience in steel/aluminium sheetmetal and/or duct fabrication
Salary range is $55,000 - $75,000pa commensurate with experience
Multiple Full-time Positions available
