As our Sr. Windows System Administrator, you will be part of a dynamic team, working hand-in-hand with global admins as the most senior team member. As an integral part of A10’s global IT team, you will deploy and maintain the entire windows infrastructure and manage Active Directory globally by working closely with system administration and assisting in troubleshooting efforts.
As a focal point of contact for the global IT team, you will work closely with them addressing their issues impacting employees, as well as our infrastructure, ensuring the success of A10’s product development. You will expand your knowledge base of skills as you contribute as a member of a cross-functional team that operates in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with several years of job experience. Experience in Windows, system configuration, customization and virtualization, and networking knowledge is a plus.

Requirements
  • Install, configure, manage, and maintain VM environments
  • Create and deploy software packages/updates using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Design, engineer, and create various system builds
  • Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Active Directory and system health
  • Provide escalated customer support and ticket resolution
  • Develop, implement, and enforce processes and SOPs
  • Ability to present to executive management incident debriefs and root cause analysis reports
  • Resolve software and hardware-related problems
  • Install new applications, perform system upgrades, evaluate and install patches
  • Manage, track, report and process support tickets or change requests daily
  • Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening functions
  • Monitor incident trends and coordinate process improvement proactive resolution processes
  • Perform patch management using Windows Server Update Services
  • Perform daily administration and document system infrastructure
Knowledge of
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting GPP/GPOs
  • Firewall, antivirus, malware protection, security hardening
  • Network knowledge layers 1, 2 & 3
  • File systems, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, CEPH, ZFS
  • Cloud infrastructure and container-based infrastructures. (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
  • IPv4 networking, including TCP/IP, SMTP/POP/IMAP, HTTP/S, LDAP
  • LDAPS. DNS, DHCP
  • Local and external authentication and access control
  • Printer Server Management (Microsoft)
  • Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Server
  • Managing IP assignments (Microsoft)
Other Desired Skills
  • Ability to work with 3rd party vendors on quotations, technical support, inquiries, etc.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation
  • Cisco experience a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple issues
