JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Designer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Web Designer with 10 years of experience, you will lead the design and development of visually stunning and user-friendly websites. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including web developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong design portfolio, an in-depth understanding of industry trends, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring the highest quality of web design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal user experiences.
  • Maintain and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout the design process.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives to inform the design strategy.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Continuously improve and streamline design workflows and processes.
  • Conduct thorough usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve designs.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into design solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful web design projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.
  • Ability to create and manage a library of templates, components, grids, and styles to support a complex variety of B2B needs
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices. For example using animation, interactivity, and movement to delight visitors and encourage clicks (Lottie files, animated gifs, parallax, mouse scroll jacking, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. Deep understanding of mobile and tablet experience creation, optimization, and performance implications
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Experience with UX research methods and usability testing.
  • Proven ability to lead design projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

$103,500.00 - $155,200.00
