Senior Staff Accountant Jobs

Certified Public Accounting firm with an established team located in Louisville, KY seeking a senior staff level tax candidate. We are a professional accounting and consulting firm providing tax, estate planning and business advisory services to entrepreneurs, family businesses and high net worth individuals. Responsibilities:

• Organize files, information, and documents.
• Prepare advanced level tax returns and related workpapers
• Assist with special projects including, planning and advisory, financial projections, related analysis, and research
• Assist with estate planning engagements
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Contribute to team by communicating and working directly with experienced Partners and Managers to gain understanding of our client needs and successfully complete accounting and tax projects

Desired Skills:

• Ability to manage time and priorities with punctual completion
• Team player
• At least 3 years experience in public accounting
• Capability to understand and adapt to new software
• Clear and timely communication of project inquiries
• CCH Axcess software experience a plus, but not required
• Eager to expand knowledge base
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail
• CPA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year for full-time (commensurate with experience)
