Job Description
Overview:
Amalgamated Life is looking for a Senior SQL Developer who has a passion for analyzing data, working with software and learning new technologies. The developer will be working directly with experience leads, developers, and business resources to deliver quality solutions. You will be part of a team that will be migrating the business into the cloud. You will be involved with designing, implementing and working in various systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Good analytical, writing and verbal skills
  • Understanding and experience with full application development life cycle
  • Experience with data integrations and migrations
  • Knowledge of Claims, Insurance or Pension is a plus

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with writing clean, efficient code and performance tuning.
  • Hybrid Schedule
  • Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL development experience
  • Experience with complex queries and data models
  • Experience designing, developing and testing programs (packages, procedures, functions, triggers) in Oracle
Salary: 100-124K
