What you will do:

• Identify root cause of production issues and provide immediate solution and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues in production moving forward (RCA)
• Maintain engineering and technology excellence while working across multiple groups to drive solutions that are client-centric and provide a broader view of what else is possible
• Discover and apply technical insights that inform, enable, and drive product innovation to deliver solutions and product capabilities with speed and quality using your Oracle PL/SQL expertise
• Develop and unit test changes and provide UAT support
• Identify promising opportunities to improve engineering velocity through systems and tools
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and design solutions to fulfill those requirements

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures, triggers, materialized views, and functions
• 7+ years of experience writing Unix shell scripts
• 4+ years of experience with hands-on coding in Java/J2EE
• 2+ years of experience in application and web servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Wildfly, and Apache
• 4+ years of experience working in IDEs such as Eclipse, Netbeans, and Toad
• 2+ years of experience in source and version control tools such as Bitbucket and GIT
• 7+ years of experience in database technologies including Oracle 11g and 19c

What would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services, payments, or banking domains
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
