Job Description
Summary The Senior Specialist—Compliance Governance will primarily be tasked with maintaining the Company’s Code of Conduct and integrity policies, GE Aerospace procedures, Enterprise standards, as well as ownership and administration of certain risk workflows and other compliance tasks. This position will report to the GE Aerospace Compliance Governance Manager.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Partner with other functions to support the rollout and distribution of the policies and Code of Conduct (e.g., Human Resources, IT, Labor & Employment, ESG.)
  • Contribute strategic input on the organization and presentation of compliance web content related to policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborate with the Aerospace Communications + Training Manager to lead company-wide training content development to support Code of Conduct new hire and refresher training and other enterprise training and communications needed to address regulatory expectations and risk management.
  • Assist Compliance Governance Manager in monitoring, testing and other governance activities such as working with risk focals, preparing Sox narratives, etc.
  • Act with humility, lead with transparency, and deliver with focus
  • Maintain the Code of Conduct + Policy framework for GE Aerospace, including content creation, careful coordination with company policy owners and key stakeholders, and the update and maintenance of policies (including the Code of Conduct) as needed to address legal and regulatory expectations and risks.
  • Develop and enforce a policy governance system for the maintenance of legacy and newly created policy and Code of Conduct materials.
  • Act as focal and administrator of the GE Aerospace High Risk Country procedure and oversee document management governance.


Required Qualifications


  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Any offer of employment requires a successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Compliance or Legal or similar relevant experience/knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
