As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software for the Relias Platform.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring system health and fixing defects
• Solving difficult problems through research and innovation
• Contributing to the department's wiki knowledge base
• Working closely with other developers, QA, and product owners on a highly functional agile team
• Full-stack software development on Relias' learning platform
• Leading and mentoring a team of junior and mid-level developers and test engineers
• Other duties as assigned.

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have

• Basic understanding of working in cloud environments
• Basic knowledge of Material Design
• Basic understanding of working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Basic knowledge and application architecting large single-page applications
• Knowledge of modern architecture and design principles
• Strong relationship building/ interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with a variety of design tools
• Skilled collaborator
• Bachelor Degree or 10+ years of experience
• Familiarity with Redis, Service Bus, WebAPI, WCF, ASP.NET MVC
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodology
• Basic knowledge and application of .NET Core and C#
• 8+ years of overall development experience
• Knowledge of Mobile technologies (Ionic, iOS, Android)
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or other modern JS frameworks
• Knowledge of new JavaScript frameworks, technologies, industry coding standards and modern development practices
• Strong understanding of system design and service-oriented architecture
• Familiarity with privacy and security best practices
• Experienced with Agile methodology and SDLC
• Basic knowledge and application of UI/UX best practices
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Deep understanding and application of responsive JS design patterns, data structures, and web architecture

It Would Be Nice If You Have

• 2+ years SQL Server experiencen
• 2+ years modern JavaScript framework experience
• 3+ years of experience with modern object-oriented language

In accordance with pay transparency laws, we are targeting a base salary range between $125,000 - $135,000 year, plus an annual bonus
