Senior Service Reliability Engineer

Summary of the role

We’re looking for a Senior Service Reliability Engineer who will think outside of the box to propose, analyze, and implement new ways to deliver, operate, monitor, and maintain the platform while focusing on process efficiency, security, best practices, service reliability, scalability, and performance.

In this role, you will

  • Leverage, improve, design, and implement services that automate application provisioning and manage the underlying infrastructure as a service
  • Act as a technical lead, anticipate technical risks and inter-dependencies, identify potential improvement of existing code /
  • Play a key role in accelerating the organization's ability to deliver changes reliably and consistently to Amadeus Hospitality customers
  • Develop standardized automation to control, build artifact and deploy managed services

processes, and solve complex production investigations

  • Identify root cause, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure
  • Form a common continuous deployment pipeline for application development teams
Common accountabilities:
  • Understands how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
  • Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.
  • Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget.

Specific accountabilities:
  • Manage the full application stack (OS, Data Bases and Data Stores,
  • Manage application operations for Amadeus Core Services end to end.
  • Service Automation.
  • Problem & Incident Management.
  • Application, Links, vNW and the corresponding support functions according to the agreed service levels (internal & external)
  • Change and Release Management: Manage and execute change, release and test processes and drive automation of these processes
