Upkara has developed a novel biopreservation technology aiming to eliminate cold storage requirements for biological reagents and pharmaceuticals. In addition to having numerous applications in the biological reagents, biobanking, and human health markets, it will also enable the delivery of life-saving medicines to regions lacking the infrastructure required for medical storage. We are currently working to commercialize this technology and are seeking a Ph.D. level researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in the areas of protein biochemistry, protein biophysical and structural/functional characterization, analytical method development, and stability assessments. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated experience working successfully in a highly collaborative, team environment.
