Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and exceptional customer support. You will be responsible for managing several products and will be accountable for delivering urgent and high-quality assistance to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer-Centric Approach: As an ambassador for our customers, you will provide valuable input to new product development based on post-market experiences, ensuring their needs remain at the core of our innovations.
  2. Quality System Initiatives: Drive initiatives to improve the overall quality system, focusing on non-conformance issues related to product quality, and supporting quality systems initiatives.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Take the lead or actively participate in product, business process, or quality system level improvement initiatives. Your expertise in risk management activities will enhance the reliability and quality of our products.
  4. Lessons Learned and Recommendations: Conduct quality retrospectives, document key insights and lessons learned, and provide recommendations to prevent the recurrence of reliability and quality issues.
  5. Supplier Performance and Process Improvement: Utilize Six Sigma principles to analyze supplier performance and drive product improvement during the development and manufacturing phases.
  6. Corrective and Preventive Actions: Be responsible for driving the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process for both internal and external customers and suppliers.
  7. Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits to promote process standardization and continuous improvements.
  8. Quality Management Review: Actively participate in Quality Business Reviews (QBR) and Supplier Management Review activities.

Requirements:

Required:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Supplier management, involving document review, audits, PPAP, and SICR.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience in either wireless or medical device industries.
  • Proficient with ISO 9001:2015 standards, showcasing an understanding of quality management systems.
  • Showcase comprehensive expertise in driving improvements and implementing Quality System initiatives.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to provide valuable recommendations and guidance for successful project completion.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Possess knowledge of manufacturing processes for molded plastic parts and electronics assembly of printed circuit boards.
  • Specialize in Advanced Product Quality Planning, including Product Continuous Improvements, Incoming Inspection, Management Review, pFMEA, PPAP, Part Certification, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Change management.
  • Display a strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility, driven to achieve the organization's goals while building productive cross-functional and senior management relationships.
  • Accredited as an ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor.
  • Skilled in Statistical Process Control tools (SPC), DMAIC & Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Capable of thriving in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Familiarity with PLM (Arena) and/or ERP systems (SAP Quality Module preferred).
  • Certified as an ASQ Quality Engineer and/or ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Exhibit a strong business acumen, self-motivation, and a rapid ability to learn and adapt to new problem domains, engaging effectively with subject matter experts.
