Senior Quality Engineer Jobs

This position has responsibility for managing all aspects of the Quality Management System (QEMS). Responsibilities include interacting and communicating with all raw material suppliers on quality related matters not only locally but also globally. Assures that Technical Master Data, and Master Control Document Control System is properly maintained and current. Coordinate activities of the laboratory technician and process control laboratory.

• Manage internal audits that optimize plant operations.
• Conduct routine quality surveys and audits, as necessary, of critical raw materials suppliers.
• Coordinate audits of our facility as outlined within the Quality Management System in support of the applicable ISO Standards.
• Conduct Lab work activities with a safety-first approach. Ensure proper PPE and laboratory safety practices.
• Maintain centralized QEMS including the updating of documentation as needed.
• Improve response to ISO audits of our facilities to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Manage and coordinate activities of the process laboratory and laboratory colleagues.
• Develop, implement, and improve effective Quality Control Methods and Procedures necessary to support ISO Quality System.

REQUIREMENTS

• Statistical analysis capability, capable of exercising independent initiative, judgment, originality, and ingenuity.
• Several years’ experience in managing quality systems and labs in an ISO 9001 environment.
• Bachelors or Master of Science Degree in Engineering/Technical/Science field.
