Overview

Were looking to add the best-of-the-best to our creative team, and this Senior Production Artist role is an important one. This position will be responsible for producing on-time, error-free, and properly constructed print and digital files. Critical requirements for this role include an in-depth knowledge of print production, strong working knowledge of current design software, and the ability to communicate effectively with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for multiple rounds of revisions to files based on input from the Creative Director, Designers, Channel Owners, or Founders. Must take direction yet independently follow through on production tasks.
• Adhere to print/web quality standards and sign-off procedures to ensure
• Produce multiple versions of product packaging or collateral using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Must keep all versions 100% organized, labeled, and filed according to preset file-naming standards.
• Uses working knowledge of 2C to 4C print process to properly set up electronic files for reproduction. Must fully understand digital printing, offset printing, and web printing, and know the distinctions in file preparation for various printing processes.
• Create on-time, error-free, and properly constructed artwork and mechanicals.
• Adhere to brand standards, using approved fonts, logos, and protocols defined in clients brand guidelines. Responsible for quality control in this area.

Qualifications

• High level of technical skill with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Must be an expert at electronic file management. Must know how to save files to a server, upload files to FTP sites, and follow proper file naming conventions. Must know Adobe Acrobat to create pdfs to the proper specifications.
• The ability to traffic and manage assets for creative files is a must
• Must feel comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and be deadline-driven.
• 7-10 years of experience as a production artist in an agency or brand.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or another related field preferred.
• Requires a high degree of focus and extreme diligence in handling asset management, detail, typography, and maintaining 100% accurate page layouts.
• Must be fast and highly organized. Efficiency, flexibility, and versatility are highly valued at Epsilon.
• Has a full understanding of the graphic and photo reproduction process to troubleshoot problematic graphics, photos, layouts, and unexpected challenges before release.
