Under the supervision of the Director of Product Development, the Senior Product Test Engineer will develop,
implement, and improve testing procedures for hardware and firmware products. This position will be responsible for
performing root-cause analysis, automating test cases, setting Quality Assurance (QA) metrics, defining corrective
actions for Blink’s hardware, firmware, and software products. This is a hands-on on-site role, and the right candidate
will be a self-starter with a technical engineering background, capable of working in a team environment, mentoring
junior engineers, and will be motivated to take on new challenges. The right candidate will have experience in launching
products for consumer electronics and/or automotive industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Testing
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test procedures and documentations
- Testing Lab
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Encourage innovative concepts and methods for advance testing procedures
- Develop and execute automation scripts for validating features on hardware, firmware, and software products
- Execute, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with internal teams and external vendors
- Identify, record, document firmware bugs through JIRA or similar platform
- Support overseas/offsite teams in remote product testing activities
- Research and facilitate equipment and supplies required for the testing lab(s)
- Take active part in hardware and firmware development to add innovative features to new and existing products
- Demonstrate technical expertise in scheduling, tracking, status reports, and effective problem solving to stay ahead of project timelines
Minimum Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with Test Rail or equivalent test workbenches
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in product testing on firmware and hardware products
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in implementing testing procedure for product launches
- Master’s degree in software, IT, electronics & telecommunication engineering, or similar disciplines or bachelor’s degree with appropriate demonstration of technical skills and extensive work experience
- Strong oral, written and listening communication skills.
- Experience working in team environment, overseas team members and with external vendors
- Combined ability to work independently and interact with people at all levels of responsibility
- Ability to be self-motivated and exhibit a high degree of professionalism
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
- Ability and willingness to travel (if required)
- Experience working on HTML, CSS, XML, Java, or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions even in scenarios with limited information
- Knowledge and experience in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MATLAB, and oscilloscopes is required
- Experience on robotics and mechatronics project is a plus
- Exposure to product design reviews, verification testing, supplier/vendor/customer support
- Experience working of operating systems Windows, Linux, iOS and/or Ubuntu
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of coding languages C, C++, Python, SQL is required
- Possess a strong understanding of technical methods, principles and systems for testing
- Project management and technical certifications is a plus
