Job Description
Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Supervisor m anages the day-to-day oversight and operational activities of a team of Financial Analysts. This includes using active management behaviors to lead a team of Analysts who are responsible for the following: 1) Daily cash processes, receipts, batching, disbursements and reporting; 2) On-going maintenance of REVAL reconciliations; 3) Reconcile and maintain the Unapplied Cash process monthly; 4) Completion and compliance of all Premium accounting controls; 5) Coordination of vendor forms.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise the day to day cash and accounting operations activities related to collection of Premium receivables, and assist in hiring, training, and reviewing performance of staff
Lead daily meetings with team to manage daily workload, make assignments, provide direction, conduct proactive workload balancing and remove barriers to ensure team meets deliverables and commitments
Meet operational standards by contributing accounting information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying cash system improvements
Provide Manager with status of team deliverables, client escalations and process opportunities
Responsible for identifying risk/problem areas in the business and work efficiently in resolving them
Responsible for the ongoing development of staff including providing feedback and coaching
Responsible for building and fostering relationships with matrix partners while driving toward issue resolution
Job Expectations:

Partner with premium and accounting teams to identify trends and opportunities for continued improvement
Demonstrate the flexibility needed to ensure superior client and customer experience while keeping compliance at the forefront of all we do
Provide innovative ideas that demonstrate outside-the-box thinking
Willingness to lead improvement initiatives even if outside of their comfort zone
Communicates effectively with team, peers and key business partners that build meaningful and productive relationships
Initiate individual coaching plans as necessary
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 2 years experience managing a financial and/or accounting team required
Experience managing in a virtual team preferred
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Accounting, Banking, Billing, Billing Reconciliation experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Diamond cash and application system
Experience managing complex operational work units
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to manage in a matrix environment
Strong influencing skills
Strong people assessment skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals at various levels
Proven track record of effectively driving change through strong partnerships and engagement with front-line staff, management and customers
Strong communication skills
Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 59,800 - 99,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
